About Still Fork Furniture

Heirloom quality, American made furniture — handcrafted in Ohio since 2016.

Our Story

Still Fork Furniture has been producing heirloom quality, American made furniture since 2016. Each piece of solid wood furniture is hand crafted and finished by Amish craftsmen in Ohio. Our mission is to combine high quality products with superior customer service at an affordable price.

"An honest product for an honest dollar."

Every dining table, chair, hutch, and bedroom piece we build starts with premium solid hardwood — no veneers, no particle board, no shortcuts. The same traditional joinery techniques used by Amish craftsmen for generations are used in every piece that leaves our shop.

Solid Hardwood Only

We use only premium solid hardwood — oak, maple, cherry, walnut, hickory, elm, and more. No veneers, no MDF, no particle board. Your furniture is real wood through and through.

Amish Crafted in Ohio

Our skilled Amish craftsmen in Ohio hand build every piece using time-honored techniques including dovetail joinery and hand-rubbed finishes. Each piece is one of a kind.

Made to Order

Every piece is built to your specifications. Choose your wood species, finish, size, shape, edge profile, and leg style. Your furniture is made specifically for you.

Premium Finish

We use high quality Clear Post-Catalyzed Topcoat varnish — smooth feel, non-yellowing, extremely tough, with outstanding moisture and chemical resistance.

Warranty & Care

5-Year Warranty

Still Fork Furniture warrants its furniture for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase to be free from defects in workmanship, provided it is not altered, subjected to misuse or been used in a commercial setting. Failure to use proper cleaning or polishing products will invalidate this warranty. Limited warranties are non-transferable from the original retail purchaser.

Cleaning Your Heirloom

A damp clean soft cloth is all that is necessary to keep your furniture looking great for years. Use a mild soap that does not contain micro-abrasives (i.e. Dawn) — only use mild soap when necessary. Follow up with a clean soft cloth to dry.

Polishing

Polishing your new product is not necessary. Your new furniture has been finished in a high quality catalyzed finish. Do not polish for the first 6 months until your furniture has fully cured. Should you decide to occasionally polish, use a non-silicone & wax free polish. We recommend Guardsman. See your local retailer for recommendations.

Things to Avoid

  • Avoid placing extremely hot food or objects directly on your table
  • Avoid using vinyl or plastic placemats or tablecloths as they can contain silicone products that can react with the finish
  • Avoid sliding rough or abrasive items across your table without a placement underneath
  • Avoid using silicone or wax based products to clean your furniture
  • Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources
  • Avoid letting spills sit — standing liquid can cause damage over time

Humidity Control

Keep your home's humidity level between 35%–45%. Solid wood is a natural fiber and will shrink and swell with the seasons. Tabletop joints between leaves will gap slightly in the center or edge depending on the humidity. This is a natural process and can be helped with humidity control.
